Through education and engagement, our initiative aims to cultivate safer, more compassionate communities rooted in dignity, respect, and shared humanity.
Community Transformation Initiative Kick-off 2027
BHS C.O.P.E is a leadership and community transformation initiative of Black Heritage Society Inc. Inspired by nonviolence and the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., BHS C.O.P.E will equip youth, families, educators, community leaders, and organizations with practical leadership skills that promote peace, civic engagement, economic opportunity, conflict resolution, and community transformation.
