Black Heritage Society Inc. is thrilled to share that we’ve created a space for books banned by the government. These works by Black authors and significant historical titles are no longer found in schools or libraries. We stand with Carter G. Woodson in recognizing the great achievements of African Americans in the U.S. Woodson believed that celebrating Black history fosters a more inclusive and equitable society for all. At Black Heritage Society Inc, we understand how important it is to know and connect with your history. We’re committed to preserving these banned books and making them available for everyone to read freely, and whenever possible, we can also order new copies for purchase.
