Our storytime includes poetry, short story, writing, arts, and a craft for children and Youth. Participants will hear stories about the life, legacy, and era of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They will have the opportunity to write poetry and a short story about the information learned. Our goal is to provide Youth with a working knowledge of love for themselves, love for others, history, and a longing desire to be the Best Me.

Youth can stop by our booth to make a Noble Peace Necklace and tell their story of how they will make the world a better place.
Kids will become familiar with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. They will learn about his accomplishments.

Your opportunity to help support our efforts at the Black Heritage Society. Join the BHS Children Coloring Book Club and receive a coloring book on Dr. MLK Jr, with your first name printed on the front cover, bookmark, crayon, and BHS Button. Each month you will receive a new coloring page via email. up to 10 copies. Your $20.00 donation will help bring projects to the community and continue our mission.
