May 24, 2014, the unveiling of the MLK Statue -- Memorial Project
Over 3,000 people were there for the unveiling of the MLK Statue here in Houston, Texas at the MacGregor Park on MLK Blvd and Old Spanish Trail. Attorney Ben Hall and wife gave $60,000 to secure statue for placement at MaGregor Park

Dr. Martin L. King’s mission to end racial discrimination and economic injustice was a monumental undertaking and racism persists to this day. Elevating Civil Rights and Black History Program awareness of Black and African culture. We review the past evaluate the present, and strive a better future. Our mission,vision, and programs keep community informed. The Black Heritage Society has preserved, celebrated, and united communities through education, unity, and service.
